Supply-demand models

The environmental markets are modeled as supply versus demand, not just described. Each model is built from primary-source program data and refreshed as the record changes.

How the data is maintained

Three principles govern the data:

Primary-source. Figures trace to the statute, regulation, registry, or exchange that published them, not to a third-party summary.

Sourced and dated. Program rules, targets, and marks carry their source so you can verify them, and the change feed timestamps every detected update.

Updated as the record changes. The watcher crawls tracked regulators and sources continuously; the change feed and calendar update as new rules and deadlines appear; the supply-demand models are refreshed on a defined cadence as program data is published.

Verified versus indicative. Where a figure is an exchange-anchored or primary-source verified value, it is treated as such. Where a smaller-market mark or vintage series is a market estimate rather than a verified print, it is labeled indicative, so you always know which is which.
