These terms are between you and PENDING: legal name, a PENDING: entity type established in PENDING: jurisdiction, trading as Knighted Markets. Using the site or a subscription means you accept them.
Knighted Markets is a regulatory-intelligence and supply-demand research platform for environmental and energy commodity markets. It publishes written analysis, tracked regulatory changes, a compliance calendar, a document library, forward supply-demand balances and market marks, and provides an API and an analysis assistant.
Nothing we publish is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything. We are not a broker, a dealer, an investment adviser, a benchmark administrator or a price reporting agency. Our marks are research inputs, not settlement prices, and must not be used as a settlement reference, a valuation source or a benchmark in any contract. Decisions you take are yours.
We publish from primary sources and we cite them. We do not warrant that everything is correct, complete or current, and regulatory material changes without notice. What we do commit to is this: when we find a published figure was wrong, we publish a correction naming what was wrong and what it should have been, rather than editing the original silently. Those corrections are public at /corrections.
Some data we use is licensed from third parties on terms that do not let us redistribute it. Where that is so, we either withhold the figure and say we are withholding it, or we publish only what our licence permits, with the basis stated. You may not extract, redistribute, resell or systematically copy data from the platform, and you may not use it to build or train a competing product. Regulatory source documents remain the property of the bodies that issued them.
An account is for one named person and its credentials are not to be shared. Team and enterprise plans cover the seats stated in the plan. You are responsible for what is done with your credentials. We may suspend an account that is sharing access, scraping the platform, or placing an automated load on it that degrades service for others.
Plans and their monthly analysis allowances are listed at /pricing. Access is granted on request rather than by self-service checkout, so a subscription begins when we confirm it. Exceeding a plan's monthly analysis allowance stops further analysis calls for that month; it does not generate an overage charge.
We aim to keep the platform available and we publish its current status in the footer of the home page, derived from a live check rather than asserted. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee unless one is written into a separate agreement with you.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity or indirect loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
